It's a lie: hopeless romantic.
It's a frail excuse I use when I know I can't commit.
So I don't try, I get caught up in semantics,
and my conversational skills could use some practice.
If you could build a lifetime on locking lips, then I promise you I'd be better off than this.
So I give up, I'd rather feel sorry for myself,
than take your patient heart away from someone else.
Like winter branches lined with snow and ice, Sam Ray (Ricky Eat Acid, Teen Suicide)'s latest is delicate, spare, melancholy, and beautiful. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 3, 2018
Scottish rockers strip back their epic sound for a live session recorded in a converted 19th-century Glasgow church. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 19, 2015
The style of singing and lyrics fit this song so beautifully. It get's out all the pain of losing someone you care about while wishing them well. The whole album is solid however and I'm super happy to own this. RMP
